On yesterday's show Carly asked Katie to ask Henry to back off and stop spying on her for Rosanna.  Today Katie calls Henry on his cell phone and asks, "Where are you?"  Henry is drinking coffee at Java but tells Katie he's at the gym, in their line of work it's important to stay in shape.  "The only weight you've ever lifted is a two pound bar of chocolate," says Katie.  Henry admits his lie and says, "I'm enjoying the pleasures of caffeine at the Java coffee house.  I don't know who invented this stuff, but remind me to send them a letter."  Katie says she'll do that, and tells him to order another on her, she'll be there in twenty minutes.  "I've already had two, one more and I'll start chewing on my elbow!" says Henry.  Katie tells him, "I don't care if you grind your teeth down to little stubs, just don't leave until I get there!"

Henry is drumming on the table with his silverware when Katie arrives.  "How many coffees have you had?" she asks.  "The bariste cut me off at five, she said she could hear my heart beating from across the room," says Henry.  He asks Katie if she has a new assignment for Early Bird Surveillance.  "Do you still work for Rosanna Cabot?" ask Katie.  "Hmmm...  well it depends on what you mean by work, exactly..." stammers Henry.  Katie hits him in the shoulder and he cries, "Ouch, there's a bone in there!"  Katie reminds Henry of their deal that he wasn't going to work for her anymore.  "Agreements are made to be altered," declares Henry.  "She pays us very well, sweetheart, and in case you haven't noticed, our cash flow has become a trickle."  Katie says it's still not worth it, and threatens to go to Lucinda.  "You wouldn't do that," says Henry worriedly.  "Once she finds out you're back to your smarmy ways she's going to have you thrown out of that suite like a bunch of dirty towels.  Then you'll be prosecuted for jumping bail, and put behind bars!" warns Katie.  "You paint a bleak picture, but..." begins Henry.  "The only but I want to hear about is yours scooting over to Rosanna and telling her to find another flunky.  Do that today or our friendship is over," demands Katie.

As if that wasn't enough, Katie tries another threat.  "If you go near Rosanna one more time, I'll tell Molly that you were the one who broke into her apartment and photocopied that check."  Add that to the charge of breaking into Rose's place, and he'll go to jail for sure!  Henry wonders, "Were you always this tough, or..."  "It's a new thing," says Katie proudly.  "It's a new thing.  OK, all right.  You win, I'll stop," agrees Henry.  Katie is pleased and reminds him, no more spying on Carly Tenney.  "Her name is Snyder, but if her husband knew what I knew, he'd call her something else," says Henry.  Katie plugs her ears and says she doesn't want to hear it.  "You can ruin a good coffee buzz like nobody's business," says Henry.  "No backsliding, babe, or the ax falls," says Katie cheerily as she leaves, mission accomplished.  "See you at the company picnic," calls Henry after her.  He pays his bill and is about to leave when Rosanna walks up to him.  "Hello Henry, how lucky I've just run into you."  Henry says he's about to leave, but Rosanna stops him.  "I need to know what you found out about Carly and Mike, and it better be good, lamp chop, I'm in a foul mood."

Henry gently suggests to Rosanna that it seems they're not trying to prove Carly slept with Mike, which in some ways is none of their business.  "Is that your way of telling me you have no new information to report?" asks Rosanna, unmoved.  Henry tells her that the surveillance tape at the office was unreadable.  Rosanna asks about the guard and Henry says she's on vacation.  "It seems to me all our ends are coming up dead," says Henry.  "It seems to me you need to keep looking until you find a live one," suggests Rosanna.  "Wouldn't you rather just move on and let everyone live somewhat happily ever after?" asks Henry.  "I don't give up, Henry, on anything, ever.  Carly and Mike don't deserve to be happy, they haven't earned it.  Which is why I live for the day when their smug hypocritical lives blow up in their faces," says Rosanna.

"I'll do anything you say, Miss Cabot, just tell me what you need," says Henry.  Rosanna asks about the champagne glasses he found at Carly's office.  Henry says the prints were difficult to read, and the lab is running them again.  They'd like a sample of Mike's fingerprints to run a comparison.  Rosanna is prepared for that, earlier in the day she purposely dropped a pen in front of Mike so he would pick it up.  She carefully hands the pen to Henry and tells him there are two prints on it, hers and Mike's.  "This should be all you need to prove that Mike and Carly were together the night before the wedding," says Rosanna happily.

Today’s episode was directed by Joseph Cotugno and written by Craig Heller.
