Tuesday, August 15, 2006 The Colemans are looking for Maddie with no success. Margo brings her to them after finding her at Will and Gwen's place where Gwen and Casey were attacked. She's unable to tell them what she was doing there, and Louis offers to talk to her. Today’s episode was directed by Jennifer Pepperman and written by Judith Donato.
Transcripts from TVMegasite Eve: Did you find her? Henry: No. Eve: Did you try that coffee shop? Henry: Yeah, I've been there. Eve: The library? Henry: Yeah, they haven't seen her in days. Eve: The mall? Henry: It's a big mall, Eve. Eve: She must have a favorite store. Henry: I'm sure she does. Do you really think she's shopping right now? Eve: No -- I'm just worried. Henry: I am, too, sis. Eve: Any luck? Louis: I came up empty. But I don't know the town very well -- Eve: Maybe we should call the police. Henry: Forget that. Louis: For once I agree with you. Eve: I don't know, do you think she would call any of her old friends from Chicago? Louis: She hasn't called one of those kids in months. Why now? Henry: I don't know, it's worth a try. Louis: Fine, call them, waste your time. Henry: Wow. You know, Louis, if you had four legs and a sniffer, you might actually be good for something. Louis: You want to take this outside? Eve: You know what? Stop it! Fighting will not help find Maddie. Henry: Yeah, eve's right. Until we find her, let's all just play at being family. Eve: We are family. Louis is my husband, and I wish you would stop treating him like he's an outsider. He's been like a second big brother to Maddie, and you know it. Henry: What, Eve, were we supposed to be all, like, warm and cozy now? Louis: Just stay out of my way. Henry: Down, boy -- Louis: Look, I put up with you for her sake, but don't push it. Eve: Stop it. We need to find Maddie. What if she's been attacked again, and she's out there hurt or -- Henry: We'll find her. We'll find her. She can't have gotten far.
Louis: We're grateful, detective. Henry: Are you okay? Eve: Where was she? Margo: Outside of Lucinda Walsh's cottage. Henry: What were you doing there? Margo: There was an attempted murder. Maddie was hiding outside. She claims she saw the guy run off. Eve: Did anyone -- Margo: No, no -- no one was killed. He was scared off. Henry: Since when were you the woodsy type, huh? Margo: Well, Casey was there. Maddie: I wanted to talk to him. Louis: Was the boy attacked? Margo: My son and Gwen Munson were, yes, but they're both lucky. Louis: You really think Maddie could take on two people? Margo: You know, I don't have any real proof right now, but if you want to keep your little sister out of jail, I advise you to have a 24-hour alibi for her.
Eve: Honey, why won't you tell us why you were there? Maddie: I have. You won't believe me. Henry: Hold on -- hey, kiddo. Hold on. Maddie: Henry, I would never hurt Casey, ever. Henry: I know. Louis: I hear you were crazy about the guy. I know it's hard answering the same questions over and over again. Henry: Look who grew a heart. Louis: Maddie, you're like my kid sister, too. You know that, right? You got a lot of people pretty upset tonight. Maddie: I didn't mean to. Louis: I know that. Come on, let's talk -- just the two of us, like we used to. You can tell me what's going on inside that head of yours.
