Transcripts from TVMegasite Bonnie: I don't care how you did it before, but this is how we're doing it now. Henry: Who are you talking to? Bonnie: No, Henry is not here. Henry: Yes, Henry is here. Bonnie: No, well, I'm handling this from here on out. Henry: Handling what? Bonnie: No, those are the numbers. Now, if you can't do that, we will be glad to find another wine merchant. Henry: Wine merchant? Are you talking to Marcello like that? Give me the phone! Bonnie: You can? That's good news. Henry: Bonnie, answer me! Bonnie: Oh, absolutely. I will be happy to give Henry your best. Yes, thank you. Have a good one. Bye. Good morning. Henry: Don't tell me you did that Shena, queen of the jungle routine on Marcello. Bonnie: Is that a problem? Henry: Yeah, he's a friend of mine, and he also grew up on a winery on Tuscany that's been in his family for, like, six generations. He has the best nose in the Midwest. You need to call him back right now and apologize. Bonnie: Okay, wasn't it your idea to have me come here and help out? Henry: Yes, help out. Assist. Not take over. Not alienate my friends. Bonnie: Well, you answer me this. Do you want to make friends, or do you want to make money?
Henry: Marcello makes our customers happy, and that makes our cash registers happy, and that makes us happy. And unlike a courtroom or the shark tank at the aquarium, everybody wins. Bonnie: That's so charming. Naive, but charming. Henry: It's also how I do business. Bonnie: Okay. Well, this is how I do business. Henry: Marcello agreed to these prices? Bonnie: Yes, he did. Henry: That's gonna save us a bundle. Bonnie: Yes, it will. Henry: Here. Just -- next time, just talk to me first, please? Bonnie: Okay, sure, fine. I am so sorry. Henry: Where are you going? Bonnie: The shark tank. Visit my friends. Henry: [ Laughs ]
Paul: Bonnie. I'm so glad you're not doing anything. I have some legal work that I need done right away. Bonnie: Paul, I'm really not doing that anymore. Paul: I'm taking full control over the Snyder farm project, and I need for you to review these agreements. Bonnie: Well, what about your partners? Paul: Well, they backed out. Bonnie: Why? Paul: Well, Mike Kasnoff seems to think there's problem with the soil, so we've got to clean it all up before we get started again. Bonnie: So why would you want a larger part of a mess like that, Paul? Paul: I just need for you to review these agreements. Bonnie: Okay, um, I can refer you to a really great -- Paul: No, no, no. I don't want to talk to somebody else. I don't want to talk to somebody I don't know. Henry: Your ex-legal eagle here is trying to tell you that she's hung up her wings. Paul: Look, I've secured all the loans. My mother's co-signed them. I just need somebody to make sure that I've covered all my bases. Henry: I'm serious, Paul. Paul: Okay, look, it's just paperwork. You don't have to talk to another lawyer. You don't have to go appear in court. Henry: You're not listening to her. No means no. Paul: I'll double your fee. Henry: You'll double it? Bonnie: Paul, I'm just not interested. Henry: Let's not be so hasty here. Someone's got to feed the sharks.
Bonnie: Okay. I'll be done with these in a few hours, and then we'll get right back to work, okay? Henry: Hey, no worries. No hurry. If anything, I think you're working too fast. Bonnie: What? Why? Henry: Well, he's paying by the hour, right? And if he's in charge of this entire development project, then he'll probably have some more legal work down the line. Bonnie: Henry, wasn't this your idea? Henry: It wasn't my fault. He made you an offer I couldn't refuse. Bonnie: Well, don't worry, because I think Paul knows that this is just a one-time deal. Henry: Yeah. Yeah, I hope you're right. With Paul, though, you never know.
