Tuesday, July 19, 2005 Henry has helped Carly find a way into Iris' house, and she's currently questioning Iris about her history with Carly's father. And Jack is wondering where his wife is. Jack calls Carly's cell phone and hears it ringing outside his door. He opens the door to find Henry, who has come by to return it. Jack asks Henry why he has Carly's cell phone, and Henry says that he found it. "Where?" questions Jack. "On the ground," answers Henry. "What ground?" asks Jack. "Outside," says Henry. "Where outside?" asks Jack. "Around," says Henry evasively. "Coleman!" says Jack sternly. "Snyder!" replies Henry. "Detective. Sir," he adds. "Tell me," orders Jack. "What happens at Yo's stays at Yo's," says Henry. "You found Carly's cell phone at Yo's?" asks Jack. Henry answers in the affirmative, and Jack says, "That's funny, 'cause I was just there, dialing away, looking for Carly." "No kidding, really?" asks Henry. "Didn't see you, didn't hear the phone. Don't buy a word of this. Where is Carly?" demands Jack. "You know Jack, that's hard to say," says Henry. "Force yourself. And you better pray that the answer has nothing to do with Iris Dumbrowski," says Jack. "You know, I thought Carly would be here. I'm sure she'll show up though somewhere," says Henry, as Jack pulls him into the house. "Iris Dumbrowski," repeats Jack. "Yeah, so you said. Is she a friend of Carly's? Maybe they're out shopping? Had a spa day?" suggests Henry. "Henry, I will call the taxi and limousine commission and yank your license," threatens Jack. "That's cold, Jack. That's also blatant abuse of power," says Henry. "I'm ruthless like that," says Jack. "I'd love to tell you, but I can't. Client privilege," says Henry. "There's no such thing as limo driver/passenger confidentiality," says Jack impatiently. "She didn't hire me as a driver," admits Henry. "She hired you? As in, paid you?" asks Jack. "Uh-huh. At a discounted rate, I might add. And I earned every penny I can assure you," says Henry. "Doing what? I'm mentally running down your rap sheet in my head. You're still a P.I.?" asks Jack. "Well, my license is current in some state," replies Henry. "She hired you to find Iris Dumbrowski. Right?" asks Jack. "No. Absolutely not," says Henry truthfully. "Because she'd already found Iris, hadn't she? She wanted you to dig up information," guesses Jack. Henry tries to change the subject. "Is that gorgeous little girl of yours around? I haven't seen Sage in months," he asks, looking around. "What'd you dig up, Henry?" asks Jack. "I bet she's breaking hearts at the wading pool," continues Henry. "Better answer this one, or you're going to go walking out of here with a limp! Do you understand that? Do you know where Carly is right now? Yes or no?" demands Jack. "Yes," answers Henry reluctantly. "Is she okay?" asks Jack. "I would never leave a woman in harm's way," says Henry defensively. "There's all kinds of harm, Henry. Did she seem okay to you?" Jack asks again. "Sure," answers Henry. "You don't look sure," observes Jack. "She seemed fine when I left her," says Henry. "Where'd you leave her, Henry?" asks Jack. "Jack, I told you, I can't -- can't believe she wasn't home," says Henry, seeing Carly walk in the door. "Carly!" cries Jack, relieved. "Safe and sound. You know, you had your husband worried. You didn't tell me about that part," mutters Henry as he passes her. Carly apologizes and Henry whispers, "I didn't tell him anything, not even my serial number." "Thanks Henry," says Carly. "Yeah," says Henry, leaving them alone. Today’s episode was directed by Sonia Blangiardo and written by Melissa Salmons.
