Henry once again appears in the strange island nation of Avanya.
Katie is sulking in her hotel room because Simon has turned into "a
Neanderthal with strange eyes." A note is slipped under her
door. It's from Henry, asking her to meet him on the veranda.

Katie storms downstairs and pulls Henry out from behind a potted
plant. She demands to know what's going on and where her husband is.
Henry says he doesn't know, but he knows he's not upstairs with her. Katie
asks why she should believe the man who kidnapped Joe and stole Rose away from
her engagement party. Henry reminds her that it was Cooley who did the
kidnapping, not him. He is not the enemy, he's the one who sent her the
telegram saying Simon was in trouble and needed her help. He claims he's
trying to protect Simon. When he and Cooley sell the diamond they'll leave
the island "rich and desperate men." He wants Katie to keep
Simon out of the way for his own safety, she should thank him! "Thank
you for disrupting my life?" questions Katie. Henry reminds her that
in Oakdale everyone's life is disrupted. Katie says that hers was about to
be settled.
Henry tells Katie that just because Simon "beat the murder
rap," he is not innocent in all of this. He stole the
provenance. "Try Rose's provenance," corrects Katie. Henry
admits it wasn't his but it also wasn't Simon's, and he stole it so he could
steal the diamond. "And if you think he's going to give it back to
that gum-smacker, you need to floss between the ears." Henry tells
Katie that "Simon has an agenda, and it revolves around a gorgeous chunk of
carbon." "I have an agenda too, and it revolves around a
gorgeous chunk of man," counters Katie. She angrily walks away as
Henry protests. She warns him to be careful slipping things under her
door, she'll step on his hand! Henry calls after her that he's always been
there for her. But she continues up the stairs and back to her room.

[ Avanya - El Capitan Hotel - "Simon" and Katie's
Room]
[ A knock and someone slips a note under the door ]
>> Katie: Simon? Simon? "Katie, meet me on the veranda. Henry."
Henry, if you're playing hide-and-seek with my husband, it is the last thing you
will ever do.
[ Downstairs at the Bar ]
>> Desi: May I help the pretty senora?
>> Katie: Ah, yes, do you know Henry Coleman? Dry martini, whiff of
vermouth?
>> Desi: Try the terrace.
>> Katie: Thank you. Oh, you better be here.
>> Henry: Over here.
>> Katie: I oughta drag you face first through the swamp. What is going
on? Where is my husband? And what's going on with him?
>> Henry: I have no idea. I do know that he's not upstairs with you.
>> Katie: Oh, and I'm supposed to believe the cretin who kidnapped Rose's
father and dragged her off during her engagement party?
>> Henry: No, no, no. Cooley nabbed Joe, not me. You remember Cooley,
right? Really fond of you, very disappointed when you abandoned us on the
island.
>> Katie: My husband, Henry
>> Henry: Look, I am not the enemy here. All right? If I was, would I have
sent you that telegram?
>> Katie: You?
>> Henry: Yes. See, I'm here to protect Simon. When Cooley shows up, the
two of us are going to leave this island very rich and very desperate men. Now,
if dingo boy gets in the way, the results could be very unfortunate. I sent for
you to distract him. Don't bother to thank me.
>> Katie: Thank you for disrupting people's lives, again.
>> Henry: Excuse me. Hello. We're talking about Oakdale. A place where
everyone's life is disrupted.
>> Katie: Yeah, well, I was about to have a settled one. Thank you very
much.
>> Henry: Right, right. With Simon. Right.
>> Katie: Yeah.
>> Henry: Katie, the man is a menace. Now, he may have defeated the dead
wife rap, but that doesn't make him innocent. He stole my provenance right out
of my pocket.
>> Katie: "Your" provenance? Try Rose's. The one you extorted
from her.
>> Henry: Okay, maybe not exactly my provenance, but it's not Simon's
either.
And if you think he's gonna give
it back to that gum smacker, you need to floss between the ears, Katie. Look, he
took the provenance for one reason only -- so that he could steal the diamond
legally.
>> Katie: Oh, come on. I'm not even listening to this.
>> Henry: You listen -- no, you listen to me.
>> Katie: Henry, no! No!
>> Henry: Open your eyes and ears here. He has an agenda. And it revolves
around this gorgeous hunk of carbon.
>> Katie: Yeah, I have an agenda and it revolves around a gorgeous hunk of
man.
>> Henry: Oh, come on.
>> Katie: Stay away from me.
>> Henry: Katie --
>> Katie: Oh, and if you're gonna slip something under my door -- be
careful, 'cause I'll step on your hand -- hard.
>> Henry: Katie -- Katie, will you listen to me? I've always been there
for you.
