Katie tells Margo how heartbroken she is about Henry, and overhearing, Henry attempts to make her jealous.

Katie is sitting at Metro twisting her ring when someone puts a hand on her shoulder.  "Henry?" she says hopefully.  "Either you overbooked or there's trouble in paradise. I'm going for door number two," says Margo, sitting down across from Katie.  "Why?" asks Katie.  "Cause you were twirling that ring like you're afraid you're gonna lose it," says Margo.  "I think I already have," says Katie sadly.  "Does this, by any chance, have anything to do with you barging in on Mike and Jen's wedding?" wonders Margo.  "I was not going to try and stop the wedding. I sat in the back. And I didn't say a word," says Katie defensively.  "And I'm guessing that Henry just didn't really see it that way," says Margo.  "I lost him, Margo. He's gone," admits Katie.  But Henry has just walked into the bar, and is listening to every word.

"I didn't mean to hurt Henry. I would never, ever do that," Katie tells Margo.  "No, of course you wouldn't. Not intentionally. But let's hop over into his boots for a second here. You didn't even make it to the airport, Katie. You ditched him by the side of the road, with a cop and a traffic ticket. And you hightailed it back to town as fast as you could just to make it to Mike and Jen's wedding," says Margo.  "I was supposed to be the matron of honor. I didn't want to let Jen down. She was counting on me," explains Katie.  Margo assures her Jen would have been fine, but Katie insists she had to honor her promise to Jen.  "What about your promise to your husband, huh?" counters Margo.  "I didn't stop the wedding," says Katie again.  "Not because you didn't want to. Man, the only reason you kept your mouth shut is because you know that Mike would never, ever walk away from Jen. Can you admit it?" asks Margo.  Katie denies it, but Margo tells her she's just lying to herself.  "If you thought for one second that Mike would pick you over Jennifer, oh, you would've hopped out of your seat like there was a fire and stopped that wedding in a heartbeat. Am I right?" asks Margo.  "Maybe," sighs Katie.  Having heard enough, Henry makes a call on his cell phone and says softly, "Hey, hey, it's me. I need to see you. I'll pick you up. How soon can you be ready?"

"Okay, what am I supposed to do? What do I do? I mean, yeah, I will always have feelings for Mike. I will probably always love Mike. But Ilsa went with Victor, not Rick," says Katie.  "Are you using Casablanca to guide you through your life?" asks Margo.  "Well, it's Henry's favorite movie. So if anyone should understand, he should. He's Victor Lazlo. He gets the girl," explains Katie.  "This is not Hollywood. This is not a movie," Margo reminds her.  "Okay, but I'm sure we're not the first couple in the real world to be slightly off balance. So, Henry gives a little more than I do. It's not the end of the world. We can still be happy," insists Katie.  "But you won't have Paris," says Margo.  "I don't want Paris. I want Henry," says Katie.  "Oh, baby. As much as I hate to say this, I think that you're too late. I think that you have to let Henry go. At least just give him some space to think. To heal," says Margo gently.  She's interrupted by her cell phone, which is the station calling her into work.  "Sorry, I got to get to the station. I hate to leave you like this," she says to Katie, who assures her sister she will survive.  "Katie, I'm really very sorry," says Margo.  "It's not your fault. It's mine," sighs Katie.  "Yeah, it is," agrees Margo, giving her a kiss and leaving.  Just then Henry walks in with a blond on his arm, laughing.

"Why do I like martinis? Well, the good ones, they taste like a beautiful cloud. They're ethereal. It's mist in your mouth," explains Henry to his new friend.  "You've got quite a way with words," she says.  "I've got quite a way with a lot of things," smiles Henry.  "Except for your memory," adds Katie, interrupting them.  "Hey, Katie! Hey, what are you doing here? Are you -- you looking for Mike?" asks Henry.  "I need to speak with you," says Katie.  "Oh, well, now's not a good time. I'm trying to drink this while it's still ice cold," says Henry.  "Yeah, your martini's not the only thing in here that's ice cold," says Katie angrily.  "What? I don't get your meaning," says Henry.  "Can we talk about this at home?" asks Katie.  "Whose home? Yours or mine?" replies Henry.  "Henry, please," begs Katie.  Henry introduces her to his "dear  friend, Ivy Churchill. Ivy, I'd like you to meet Katie."  "Katie Coleman. As in Henry's wife," adds Katie.  "We'd ask you to join us, but we don't want to. I do have something for you, though. Here it is. Yeah, it's a ticket that that cop gave me for speeding. You remember that? And I figured, since I was out of the airfare for Hawaii that the least you could do is cover this. Thanks. Now, if you'll excuse us," says Henry, turning his back to her.  Ivy laughs and puts her hand on Henry's shoulder.  "Hey, whatever-your-name-is -- Ivy? Take your hands off my husband. Now," demands Katie.

"Why don't you find us a nice secluded table where we can, you know, be alone and uninterrupted," Henry tells Ivy.  "I liked your suggestion about leaving much better," says Katie.  Ivy leaves them alone, and Katie asks Henry why he's doing this.  "Why am I doing what, sweetheart? Moving on with my life after being left in the dust by a woman who claimed that she loved me?" asks Henry.  "I do love you," insists Katie.  "Not enough," says Henry.  "So, this is how you drown your sorrows?" asks Katie.  "Oh, we're just -- we're having some drinks," says Henry dismissively.  "Here. Not at the Lakeview, not at a million other places. 'Cause you knew I was going to be here and you're trying to make me jealous," accuses Katie.  "Yeah, Katie, that's it, because everything I do has to be in relation to you. You know what? You know what? I'm not going to beg and plead for your love. And I'm not going to stand in the mighty Kasnoff's shadow any more. Not any more. It's a big shadow, Katie, and I'm afraid of the dark," says Henry.  "Please, don't do this, Henry. Let's go home. Let's talk. I will prove to you that there is no shadow of Mike in our house. Not anymore," insists Katie.  "You can't kid a kidder, okay? And I'm not talking about myself," says Henry, "You are kidding yourself if you think that Mike wouldn't be in bed with us, every night, forever."  "That is not true," says Katie.  "He's in your heart, sweetie. He always will be. You proved that yesterday. So, I can't do this anymore. I'm sorry, but one day you'll understand," says Henry.  "No, no, no. That's Bogie's line, that's not your line. Don't you get it? I'm Ilsa. You're Victor. I get on the plane with you," says Katie desperately.  "You didn't, though. You didn't get on the plane. You left as soon as you could. You ran -- you ran back to Mike. Always back to Mike. I can't do this. No, I can't it anymore. Okay, that's it. I'm sorry. My date is waiting, I've got a couple of drinks here that are getting warm," says Henry.  "You're not wearing your ring anymore," observes Katie. "I don't have a marriage anymore. I'm not sure I ever did," says Henry sadly.

"When we got married, you knew I still had feelings for Mike. I never kept that from you. But I have never acted on them," says Katie.  "You acted in your heart. 24/7. How in the hell am I supposed to compete with that?" asks Henry.  "I can't lose you, Henry. Please, I love you. Just -- just tell me what to do and I'll do it. Just put me to a test. I will prove to you I..." begs Katie.  "Stop it, stop it, stop it! You can't prove something you don't believe, all right? It is over. We made a terrible mistake. If it -- if it helps, I blame myself. I'm sorry. All right, I was the fool. I loved you so much that I thought I would be okay with being the second best. But I couldn't, Katie, I can't. I cannot, I won't do it. And I know that hurts you and I'm sorry, that breaks my heart, it really does, but you've got to face reality here," says Henry.  "You are my reality," says Katie.  "I wish that were true. I got to go. Here's looking at you, kid," says Henry.  "That's not your line!" says Katie.  "That's the only one I have left," says Henry with a catch in his voice.  Katie runs out of the bar.  Ivy approaches Henry and tells him she knows what he's going to say, "You're about to ask me for a rain check."  "I'm sorry. Would you be terribly disappointed?" asks Henry.  "I'll manage. Just as you don't take too long to cash it in," says Ivy.  "No, I promise," says Henry.  Ivy kisses him on the cheek and leaves.  Henry sighs and looks at his wedding ring.

Today’s episode was directed by John O'Connell and written by Josh Griffith.
