Henry uses Brad to keep himself away from Vienna.  He still believes that if he can't marry her, if he's not "in love" with her, he shouldn't be with her.  Brad disagrees, and tries to convince him that Vienna wants to be with him.  Henry is still reluctant.  Meanwhile, Vienna has a dream than Henry has snuck into her room, when in reality a man in black sneaks in and leaves a necklace.

Today’s episode was directed by Habib Azar and written by Susan Dansby.

Vienna: Good. Having dinner?

Henry: Yeah. How have you been?

Vienna: Since lunchtime? Fine. I was wondering -- um --

Henry: Yeah.

Vienna: I need more money.

Henry: More money? More money since lunchtime?

Vienna: Yes. I have an expensive taste. What can I say?

Henry: Right. Right. Here's the ATM. Take as much out as you want. It's your money.

Vienna: Are you getting horribly tired of this? Having to see me every day?

Henry: I love seeing you. I enjoy being in your service.

Vienna: Do you remember that time we played the little thing, you were my humble servant, and I was the very bad princess?

Henry: Yeah, speaking of -- speaking of princes, have you heard anything from the prince of Leonia lately?

Vienna: No, why would I?

Henry: Well, it's been a while. He's had a chance to cool off.

Vienna: It doesn't matter. He still believes that I helped Simon steal his crown jewels.

Henry: Yeah, but you didn't. And it's not fair of him to take it out on you by threatening to take your money. I think this lawyer you have is no good. I think we need to get a new one, see what happens.

Vienna: Oh, and then would get rid of me, and you'd never have to bump into me here during meal time or having to see me, so you make sure that I have money. Is that what you want?

Henry: No.

Vienna: No?

Henry: No, no. I just -- I want to make you happy. I want you happy.

Vienna: Well, having dinner with you would make me very happy. Do you want company?

Henry: Brad, Brad -- hey, just play along, will you, okay? Brad and I, actually we're going to get some steaks, and maybe shoot a little pool.

Brad: Hey, Vienna.

Henry: So, you can hold onto the card as long as you want.

Vienna: Okay, but it won't take long. Will you still be here?

Henry: If I'm not, just leave it at the desk.

Vienna: Fine. I'll let you get on with your plans.

Henry: I think she was crying. Did it look like she was crying?

Brad: She looked like she wanted you to kiss her.

Henry: She wants me to love her.

Brad: Then love her. Up, down, sideways, I'm just saying, Henry, if you don't, some other guy will.

Brad: I can't believe I asked you for advice on how to handle Katie. You obviously don't know the first thing about women. This is water. Are you dying or something?

Henry: No, I'm not always in the mood for a martini.

Brad: Yes, you are.

Henry: There's something to be said for being sober sometimes.

Brad: No, I get it. I get it. You don't trust yourself.

Henry: Look, just because I choose not to drink, doesn't mean I can't.

Vienna: You know, it's Vienna. The only way you can be sure it keep your hands off her is to make sure that you're stone cold sober. You know, I get it, all right?

Henry: Look --

Brad: I'm right, right?

Henry: Yes, I broke her heart already, I went all the way to the altar, and then I walked away. And now, I don't want to make any more mistakes with her.

Brad: You see, I don't understand the mistake thing. Where's the mistake? She wants you, you want her.

Henry: I'm not in love with her.

Brad: Yeah, but you really, really, really like her. If you didn't get caught up in this wedding thing, thing you were not ready for, you'd still be enjoying each other. Probably several times a day. Love or no love.

Henry: Several times a day. Yeah, I remember several times a day. Boy, that was heaven.

Brad: You are going to eat that steak? Seriously? Can I have it?

Henry: Yes, you can have it. Yes, you can have it. As long as you promise to eat it here.

Brad: Where else am I going to eat it?

Henry: And listen, when Vienna comes back, if I make one move to her hotel room, I want you to tackle me.

Brad: Hey, all right -- hey, um, not for nothing. Yeah, not for nothing, but if she gave me the look that she gave you, the army, the marines, and the air force couldn't keep me from, you know --

Henry: Just promise me.

Brad: All right. Hey man, I'm here for you, bud. Can you pass the silverware?

Henry: Yeah.

Brad: All right. Hey, tell me something. If I decide -- what would you do -- you know, if I decided to take pity on and give her some old-fashioned --

Henry: They'd never find the body.

Brad: Just checking.

Brad: This is a great steak, are you sure you don't want any?

Henry: I wonder what could be keeping Vienna.

Brad: She just came to the door, backed up, and turned around.

Henry: What, she did? Just now?

Brad: Yup. She's probably trying to figure out how to break up with you and have some other guy keep her money.

Vienna: I can do this.

[Vienna daydreaming.]

Vienna: Here's your card. Thanks again.

Henry: You're welcome.

Vienna: Why did you have to say, "you're welcome?" I love it when you say it that way.

Henry: You know, maybe I should go check on her.

Brad: Alone? Or do you want me to get the hotel security to help me protect you from yourself?

Henry: You're really getting a kick out of this, aren't you, Brad?

Brad: You want to know the truth, Henry? No. I just don't get it. I mean, look at you, look at me. You're the guy that all the chicks are crazy about. It's wrong.

Henry: The chicks? Plural?

Brad: Katie loves you.

Henry: Yes, she's my friend.

Brad: So how do I get her to be my friend?

Henry: Your friend or your something else?

Brad: Both. I mean the way I see it, she has this pattern. First she becomes your friend, then she'll sleep with you.

Henry: Maybe. Maybe.

Brad: She was your friend, then she slept with you.

Henry: After she married me, Brad.

Brad: I'm just looking for some love, Henry. Katie and I, we work together. We're around each other all the time. It would be nice if she was into me, just a little bit.

Henry: As opposed to into your brother?

Brad: Oh, man, you think this is that rivalry thing I've got going with Jack.

Henry: I don't know, I think you're jealous.

Brad: Jealous?

Henry: Yeah.

Brad: Jealous, shut up. All right, you look, look -- Jack has a beer at Yo's every blue moon. I'm the whole party.

Henry: But Jack listens to you, you don't. Jack means it when he says he cares for her, you don't.

Brad: I care for Katie -- I care for Katie --

Henry: You're always fighting with her.

Brad: That was when I first met her, I couldn't stand her. Now --

Henry: But now -- now that she's into your brother, you want her. Right? Forget about it. You don't have a chance.

Brad: How do you know that?

Henry: I know because she won't because she already had a guy like you. And his name was Simon.

Vienna: Here's your card. Thank you. Do not say, "you're welcome." I mean it, Henry. I won't be responsible if you do.

Henry: Okay.

Brad: What's the deal with the --

Vienna: It's just -- it just a game Henry and I used to play. It's silly.

Henry: No, it wasn't silly. It was great, actually. The humble servant would get down on one knee in front of the naughty princess and he would say --

Vienna: You're welcome, your highness.

Brad: You know, I think you should take my seat. I'll be going.

Henry: What do you mean, you're going? Where are you going, Brad?

Brad: I think Vienna should join you for a nightcap. Bartender, get this man a very large martini.

Henry: No, no, no. No, no, no, kill that martini! Kill that martini --

Vienna: You don't even want to have a drink with me?

Henry: No, I just -- I need to be leaving. It's past my bedtime.

Brad: It's -- what are you talking about? It's still early.

Vienna: No, he just doesn't want to spend any more time with me than he has to.

Henry: Listen, Vienna -- Vienna, stop. Listen. You're right, okay? I don't want to spend any time with you.

Vienna: You don't?

Henry: No, I don't. Because you're too dangerous, sweetheart. This is too dangerous. You're too beautiful and kind and generous. And I -- I can't offer you forever. And that's what you deserve.

Vienna: So, you're distancing yourself to me because you want to protect me?

Henry: Yeah.

Vienna: Well, thank you.

Henry: You're welcome.

Brad: That woman, Henry, she's a keeper.

Henry: Is this the real thing?

Brad: 100 proof. This is what you're going to do. You're going to go to the front desk, you're going to ask for Vienna's hotel room key --

Henry: I already have her room key. She was my fiancée. I'm manager of her financial affairs. In case of emergency --

Brad: Okay blah, blah, blah, you're going to use it and say anything you have to to get her to let you spend the night, all right. Done.

Henry: Wait, wait, no, no, no, no. Not like that. If you get to give me advice, I get to give you some.

Brad: Fair enough.

Henry: Okay. Unless you think that you are ten times better for Katie than Jack is, please don't start anything.

Brad: All right, say anything you have to say to Vienna. It's an emergency.

Henry: Even if I have to lie and tell her that I love her?

Brad: Dude, you won't be lying.

[Vienna remembering.]

Vienna: Just put the ring on my finger and kiss me and that's all I need.

Henry: Oh, Vienna. I'm so sorry.

Vienna: Well, did you leave the ring in your other coat?

Henry: No. No, I have the ring.

Vienna: Then put it on my finger.

Henry: You're so beautiful, you know that? You are so giving and you're so generous and you're so kind and I hate myself for having to do this. But I can't marry you.

[Vienna dreaming.]

Henry: Vienna? Vienna, sweetheart.

Vienna: Mmm -- Henry. Such a nice dream.

Henry: Vienna?

Vienna: Henry? It's really you.

Henry: I can't take it anymore. I have to tell you this.

Vienna: What is it my darling?

Henry: I should have never have left you at the altar. I love you. More than life itself. I want to be with you live with you, and love you forever.

Vienna: That's what I want, too. Are you sure?

Henry: I brought proof. This. This is my heart. I want you to have it. I wish I could give you the crown jewels of Leonia.

Vienna: No. This means more, Henry. This means everything.
