Henry is at Metro waiting for Katie, who has gone to Mike and Jen's house to get a picture for their engagement party.  He calls Paul and leaves him a message.  "Hey, Paul, this is Henry. I'm trying to get an ETA on you, Mike and Jennifer. I thought you were going to call when you were on your way over. Just, you know, to make that everything is good for the big surprise. So, you know, let me know, even if they're in the car with you. We can talk in code if need be, all right?"  He sighs and hangs up the phone.  Alison asks him where Katie is, and Henry answers, "Remember, she had to go back to Mike's to get a picture to replace the one that I drowned earlier."  "And she's not back yet?" asks Ally.  "No," sighs Henry.  "She better make it fast," says Ally.  "She will," Henry assures her.  "Do you think she was able to get a picture without getting caught by Mike and Jennifer?" wonders Alison.  "Please, this is my wife we're talking about," Henry reminds her, "Katie can be pretty smooth when she has to be."

Henry is on the phone again, this time trying to call Katie.  "Come on, Katie, pick up," urges Henry.  She doesn't.  "So, Henry, your party starts pretty soon?" asks Alison.  "I hope so," replies Henry.  "And Jennifer's whole family's coming?" asks Ally.  "Yeah, well, they've all been invited," says Henry.  "Okay, well, if I have to make myself scarce, Peter will come out and he'll handle the bar," says Alison.  "You're avoiding Will Munson," guesses Henry.  "Yeah," admits Alison.  "Yeah. Yeah, I saw you two earlier. You know, looked pretty awkward," says Henry.  "It's beyond awkward. Sort of my fault, sort of his. I just don't need another thing to worry about," explains Ally.  "No. It's hard without Aaron?" guesses Henry.  "Yeah, but it's worse for him. His mother's dying. Can you imagine? And I -- I feel, like, totally shallow for worrying about my life, but -- it is my life, right? I just want the person I love to be home with me. That shouldn't be so hard," says Alison.  "No, it shouldn't," agrees Henry.  After Alison leaves he adds, "It's what we all want."

Meanwhile, Katie is caught by Mike and Jen trying to sneak into their house.  Jen accuses Katie of trying to break up her and Mike again.  Katie admits that she still loves Mike, but assures Jennifer that she's moved on and is happy with Henry.  Jen suggests they all keep their distance for a while.

Katie goes back to Metro, and Henry notices she doesn't have a picture.  "Mike and Jennifer were there. And they were quite curious as to why I just helped myself into their house," reports Katie.  "So, so, you had to tip them off about the surprise? That's not the worst thing that's ever happened," says Henry.  Katie says she didn't tell them and Henry asks why not.  "'Cause we got into other things," says Katie.  Henry asks her what happened, and Katie tells him the party is off.  "What do you mean the..."  Katie begins to cry and leans into Henry.  "Honey," says Henry sympathetically, holding her.

Henry asks Katie if she wants to talk about it and she says, "Not yet. We have more important things to do. Like un-invite all the guests."  "I'll do it. I'll call everybody. I don't want you to give it a second thought," says Henry.  "Thank you. They look good, yeah?" asks Katie, looking at the collage.  "Yeah," agrees Henry.  "I guess it was just too much to hope that we could all still be friends," sighs Katie.  "It's that bad, sweetheart?" asks Henry.  "Yeah, afraid so. 'Fraid so. I was loopy to think that I could just make this all better," says Katie.  "Well, I love your loops. I think your loops are like the best part about you. Uh-oh. I should've called our guests right away," says Henry as Jen and Mike walk in.  "It's too early for our party to be showing up," says Katie.  "Especially the guests of honor," says Henry, motioning toward the door.
