At the end of yesterday's show Simon came home and Katie asked
Henry to hide while she talked to him. The first few scenes of Henry today
consist of him holding the "Simon coconut" and reacting to the
conversation in the other room. Simon tells Katie they have to leave town
tonight. He says they can travel anywhere they want to and use Katie's
money from the video. This makes both Katie and Henry look worried.
Katie wants to call Margo to watch the cottage but Simon stops her. He
starts talking about getting fake IDs and disappearing off the face of the
earth. Katie gets scared and asks him to explain all the odd coincidences
that have happened, and Henry nods in agreement.

Simon runs upstairs to get something and comes back down as
Katie pushes Henry back out of the room. He tells her that he's doing this
for her, so that Dahlia can't hurt her. Katie is relieved that there's a
"logical" explanation for this, and tells Simon she'd go anywhere with
him because she loves him. Wrong answer, Katie! Henry thinks so too
and hits his head with the coconut. Simon leaves to contact his friend
with the fake IDs, and tells Katie to be ready to leave when he gets back.
Henry comes out of hiding and tells Katie it's been nice knowing her.
Katie tells him to shut up and grab his martini glass, because he's going away
with her tonight! Henry looks pleased at the prospect.

Before they leave, Katie gets a button from Simon's overalls,
saying she can't leave without it. Henry rolls his eyes and tells her,
"All you need is a good friend and a martini kit, and fortunately you have
both." Katie stops to write Simon a note, and Henry offers to
dictate. "Dear Simon, I'm leaving town because you're trying to kill
me." Katie sarcastically asks him if he still has his heart, and he
says he does no thanks to her, "Mr. Cooley tried to rip it out of my chest
one day. He called it lunch." Katie writes her note and signs it with XXXs and OOOs,
wondering where she should leave it. Henry helpfully offers, "under
his duct tape and noose, he's sure to find it there." She puts in on
a table, and Henry accidentally (?) knocks it on the floor as they go out the
back door. Simon runs in looking for Katie, and walks right past the note
on the floor.

Katie and Henry are outside the cottage peeking in the
window. Katie sees the note on the floor and doesn't want to leave until
she knows Simon has found it. Henry is disappointed to find that he forgot
his favorite martini glass in the cottage. Simon finally finds the note
and reads it. It says that although it breaks her heart, Katie doesn't
feel safe with him anymore. She has left town and hired a bodyguard to
protect her. "Bodyguard?" wonders Simon. Sitting on the
table in front of him he sees the martini glass, and a light bulb goes on.
He picks it up, reads the initials "HC," and realizes it must be his
old pal Henry. Simon hurls the martini glass against the wall in anger as
Henry cringes outside the window.

Transcripts from ATWTweekly
[ The Cottage ]
>> Simon: We can't stay here anymore. Katie, we have to leave Oakdale
tonight.
>> Katie: We can't leave Oakdale!
>> Simon: Why not? Why not? What's holding us here?
>> Katie: We just found a dead body. You don't just find a body and blow
out of town.
>> Simon: Why not?
>> Katie: Because -- because it shows a complete lack of respect for the
corpse.
>> Simon: Trust me -- trust me, I'm sure the corpse will not mind.
>> Katie: Yeah, well, the cops might.
>> Simon: Come on, think about it. You, me, the open road, no strings. We
can do whatever we want, whenever we want.
>> Katie: Yes, but this is our home.
>> Simon: Our home is with each other. It doesn't matter if we have a roof
over our head or nothing but the great blue sky.
>> Katie: But we love this place. I love this place. Okay. If we're gonna
leave for a little while, then we should -- I don't know, make arrangements.
Somebody should watch the place.
>> Simon: Who? And why? Why? To watch the leaky ceiling, the warped floor
boards? Oh, yeah, you're right. Maybe we should get a peeling paint sitter.
>> Katie: No, just listen. I'll call Margo, and she can --
>> Simon: No, no, no.
>> Katie: Why not? She's my sister.
>> Simon: Katie -- she's a cop.
[ The Cottage ]
>> Simon: I've got a great idea. We'll just close our eyes, we'll pick a
spot on the globe, then that's where we'll go -- anywhere in the world. Morocco,
Tasmania.
>> Katie: Okay. And what do I pack?
>> Simon: It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.
We'll just buy things as we go along the way. You still got the money from your
video, right?
>> Katie: Simon, that was for our future.
>> Simon: This is our future. Our future is now right now, this moment.
>> Katie: How much are we gonna need?
>> Simon: All of it. Or none of it. None of it. We can stay at the richest
hotels or we can camp out in the middle of nowhere. It doesn't matter.
>> Katie: Where no one will find me -- will find us. Where no one will
find us.
>> Simon: That's the idea.
>> Katie: Kinda like a vacation.
>> Simon: Sure. Sure, exactly like a vacation.
>> Katie: Okay. Then why don't we call a travel agent like normal people?
>> Simon: Because we are not normal people, Katie. That's what makes us
us.
>> Katie: Well, us just found a dead body. Us lied to the cops about why
we're at the old mill in the first place.
>> Simon: I explained that.
>> Katie: Well, explain why we found her body and not some other nosy
kids? Explain the nightmares I'm gonna have for the next ten years because of
seeing that body. Explain to me, while you're at it, who killed her.
>> Simon: I have told you that over and over and over again, Katie. It was
Dahlia, okay? Dahlia -- it was Dahlia. Why are you looking at me like that?
>> Katie: Like what?
>> Simon: Like I'm a cold-blooded killer.
[ The Cottage ]
>> Simon: Look, Katie, we don't need much, all right? Just enough to last
us a couple of days. That's all.
>> Katie: Well, what's the big rush?
>> Simon: I'm not gonna sit back and wait for Dahlia to strike again. I'm
not going to let her hurt you.
>> Katie: So you're doing this for me?
>> Simon: Of course I'm doing this for you. All of this is for you. Look,
Dahlia wants to see me suffer, ok an eye for an eye. She thinks I killed
Monique, and that's why she's gonna kill you and set me up as a murderer, just
like she did tonight with Jill Scully. This is her sick little way of getting
justice!
>> Katie: I knew there had to be some logical reason why you would want to
leave all of this. I love you so much.
>> Simon: Good. So you'll come with me. Let me prove to you the kind of
man I really am.
>> Katie: I know the kind of man you are.
>> Simon: Katie, the longer we stay, the worse this is gonna get, all
right? Dahlia's been here. She's probably stolen DNA evidence -- hairs, fibers,
whatever. Probably stuff to plant on Jill Scully's body.
>> Katie: Oh, God!
>> Simon: Katie, I did not kill Monique. You have my word on this. I did
not kill that lawyer. Baby, you are the love of my life. Please, tell me you'll
come with me.
>> Katie: I'd go anywhere with you.
>> Simon: Oh, yeah, that's my girl. All right, well, we'll get the car.
We'll drive a few hundred miles west -- west.
We'll
jump on a plane. I'll call a contact of mine and get some fake IDs.
>> Katie: Fake? Wait, hold on. We're innocent. Why do we need fake IDs?
>> Simon: If the cops don't come after us, Dahlia will. Dahlia is not
gonna give up. And now, I'm done with it. I'm done. It's part of the game, Katie
-- new names, new identities. We can be whatever we want to be, from corporate
executives to archaeologists. You tell me what you want, and I'll make it
happen. I'm gonna track down this guy and get the ball rolling, all right? Just
don't -- don't call anyone while I'm gone. Don't answer the door. Just put
anything -- a few things together, and we'll leave when I get back.
>> Katie: Okay.
>> Simon: All right? If this all goes to plan, it'll be like we just fell
off the face of the earth. I love you, baby.
>> Katie: I love you, too.
[ Simon leaves and Henry comes out of hiding ]
>> Henry: It's been nice knowing you, Katie. I'll be sure to send some
flowers to the funeral -- something big and showy, and a nice pink bow
>> Katie: Shut up, Henry, and grab your martini glass. You're going away
tonight -- with me.
>> Katie: I can't leave town without this.
>> Henry: What is it?
>> Katie: It's a button that fell off of Simon's overalls, the ones he
used to wear when he worked in the garage. I just -- he looked so sexy in them,
and I --
[ Henry groans ]
>> Henry: Listen, all you need is a good friend and a martini kit. And
fortunately, you have both. You ready?
>> Katie: Okay, I think I should leave a note.
>> Henry: Oh, here. I'll dictate for you. "Dear Simon, I'm leaving
town because you're trying to kill me."
>> Katie: Very funny, Henry. Very funny. You still have that heart in
there?
>> Henry: Yeah, I still have it, thankfully no thanks to you. Mr. Cooley
tried to rip it out of my chest one day.
He
called it lunch.
>> Katie: Um, oh, wait -- I gotta put the Xs and Os, kisses and hugs.
Okay, where should I put it?
>> Henry: I don't know, under his duct tape and noose. He's sure to find
it there, hmm?
[ car pulls up ]
>> Henry: Here's Simon.
>> Katie: Okay, okay -- hurry. Go out the back. Just go out the back.
>> Simon: Katie, we're all set. Katie?! Katie? Katie?!
[ The Cottage ]
>> Katie: [ Katie and Henry watch from outside the Cottage window ] Oh, my
note fell on the floor.
>> Henry: What a shame. Let's go.
>> Katie: Wait, not yet, not yet, not yet.
>> Henry: [ Henry spots his martini glass ]You're darn right, not yet.
That's my favorite glass.
>> Katie: My life is falling apart, and you're worried about a stupid
martini glass.
>> Henry: That baby got me through my darkest hours on devil's island.
>> Katie: Wait, duck -- here he comes.
[ Inside the Cottage ]
>> Simon: Katie?!
[ Simon finds the note on the floor and reads it ]
>> Katie: "My dearest Simon, as I write this note, my
heart is breaking. I love you more than anything in
this world, but I don't feel safe being with you right now.
Please, don't try to find me.
I hired a bodyguard just in case."
>> Simon: A bodyguard?! What bodyguard? [ Simon sees the martini glass and
reads initials engraved on the glass ] H.C. Henry Coleman. No!
[ Simon throws the glass against the wall as Henry looks on as though he's lost
his best friend ]
