Unbeknownst to Henry, Barbara has escaped from her cabin with the help of a local hunter who heard her "screaming like a Banshee."  She arrived at Craig and Rosanna's wedding and accused Craig and his female friends of kidnapping her.  Unfortunately, no one thought to warn Henry that the gig was up.

A police officer brings Barbara's cell phone to Jack in the interrogation room.  They found it in her car.  Jack asks if they found any prints, but it was wiped clean.  From the other room a voice says, "A troop does not a boy scout leader make."  "What the hell's that?" wonders Jack.  "Some whack job we found in the woods by the cabin," answers the cop.  Jack asks if there's any connection to the kidnapping, and the cop says, "Well, he says he's innocent, but that was before we accused him of anything.  Understand?"  Jack says to bring him in, and they lead Henry into the room, dressed in what must be his woods gear - a turtleneck sweater and a vest.  "What is - what is - a man can't go for a walk in the woods?" he protests.  "Henry Coleman," exclaims Jack, not acting very surprised.  "Henry here's a thief and a blackmailer.  I guess we can add kidnapping to that list."  The cop leaves Henry and Jack alone in the interrogation room.

"Ask yourself something here, Detective Snyder," says Henry.  "Why would a guy like me get himself involved in a conspiracy to kidnap the ex-wife of the chief of detectives, huh?"  "Who said anything about a conspiracy, Henry?" asks Jack.  "Every cop since Wyatt Earp," answers Henry.  Jack asks him what he was doing in the woods, and Henry says he was just minding his own business.  "And you can swear to that?  You didn't chloroform Barbara and lock her in a cabin?" says Jack accusingly.  "Chloroform?" repeats Henry.  "Please.  Come on, come on.  The only thing I buy at the drugstore is toothpaste.  Chloroform," he mutters.  Jack suggest they invite a polygraph tech in to clear everything up.  "Polygraph tech?  Are those the guys that - " begins Henry.  "If you're innocent, you've got no problem taking a lie detector test, right?" interrupts Jack.  "No, not at all.  In fact, I'd love to.  I would.  But - but since a polygraph test is inadmissible, I feel it would be wrong for me to endorse their usage," says Henry.  Jack tells him not to leave town, and Henry asks if he can go now.  "Remember this day, okay, Coleman?  'Cause if I find out you were involved after I asked you to come clean, it'll be the last happy day you ever have.  Now, get out of here.  Now," orders Jack.  Henry leaves.

Meanwhile, Carly has gone to Emily's to spend the night since she can't bear another night at the farm.  Carly has just gone upstairs to Parker when Emily hears a rapping on the door.  She goes outside and finds Henry.  "What the hell are you doing here?  What if Hal was home?"  "Hal's not home," says Henry.  "He's at the police station.  You want to know how I know that?"  Emily grabs his arm and tells him he has to leave now.  Henry pulls away and says angrily, "You and me both, baby.  But I have been warned not to leave town."  He tells Emily the cops brought him to the station to question him about the kidnapping.  Emily wonders why they would do that, and Henry tells her, "Because - because like a good boy scout, I went down to the cabin, which no one bothered to tell me, Emily, was crawling with cops!"  Emily apologizes, saying everything happened so fast she didn't think to call him.  "You're sorry?  You're sorry?  Listen to me, okay?  Are you listening?  I swear to you, if you do not get me out of this mess, I will take both you and Rose down with me!" threatens Henry.

"Kidnapping, Emily, that is a life sentence," says Henry.  Emily assures him that no one is going to jail.  "Why don't you tell that to Officer Jack, okay?  He wanted me to take a polygraph test," says Henry.  Emily explains that there is no evidence to connect them to the crime, if he would just be quiet.  "What - what about the water gun?" asks Henry.  "Water gun?" says Emily, confused.  Apparently she wasn't in on that part of the plan.  "Never mind.  Never mind.  Forget I brought it up.  Forget it," says Henry.  Emily tells him to just keep his mouth shut and stay way from her and Rose.  "Fine, I would love to.  Fine.  But you listen to me, all right?  I swear to God, if you two sell me out, you will regret it!" says Henry angrily.  Finally, our Henry is not going to let himself be pushed around!
